Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born on the 18th of November 1985. She was born in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a primary school teacher in Balboa Magnet. Felix was a natural athlete and developed a passion for sprinting at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Just 10 weeks after her initial tryout, she placed 2nd in the 200-meter race during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003, signed an agreement with Adidas. After that, she went to at the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. One year later Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece breaking the world junior record taking 200 metres in 22.18 seconds. Felix became the world's youngest winner in the 200m in the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007 by beating her time-tested Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance in London, Beijing Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo. She always finished within the top three places of every event.
