Charisma Carpenter

 

 Charisma Carpenter was born July 23, 1970. Her character was Cordelia Chase, a supernatural drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999), and its spin-off series Angel (1999–2004). She also starred as Kyra in Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablancas in Veronica Mars (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell in The Lying Game (2012-2013), and Lacy in The Expendables film series (2010-2012 ).

 



 

  Carpenter was born in Las Vegas (Nevada) as the daughter of Christine Carpenter who was working in the bird sanctuary, and Don Carpenter, an entrepreneur. Carpenter is of Spanish (from her maternal grandmother), French, German and German descent. Carpenter was a student at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Las Vegas. she was also part of a song-and-dance troupe which performed in the Las Vegas Valley when she was nine years old.

 



 

  Carpenter, then 15, She and her family relocated with her family to Rosarito Beach in Baja California, Mexico [2] and later to San Diego, California. She went to Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. [2][failed verify] After graduating, Carpenter traveled throughout Europe. Carpenter returned to San Diego and worked in the video store as an aerobics instructor as well property management. She played cheerleader with San Diego Chargers football in 1991. In 1992 she moved to Los Angeles.

 



 

  While swimming in San Diego in 1991, she and two male friends were slain by Henry Hubbard Jr., a former San Diego police officer and serial rapist who tried to subdue them with a gun. Both Hubbard Jr. as well as her companions were shot during the battle. They both survived. Hubbard was convicted and sentenced to 56 years imprisonment for a series rapes, burglaries. Carpenter Hubbard was arrested and convicted. Carpenter Hubbard his flashlight from the police station on the beach. The flashlight was crucial evidence against Hubbard.

 



 

  Carpenter was No. Carpenter was No. 31 on the AskMen's Top 99 desirable women 2002[30]. 44 on their list for 2005. Carpenter stated that she doesn't consider herself to be a sex symbol however she does consider herself a sex symbol. Carpenter was on the cover of Playboy magazine's June 2004 issue. She also appeared in a 10 page naked photo. When she was asked by People magazine in 2005 whether she would ever pose for Playboy again, she said, "I don't know. I did Playboy for a very specific reason. Playboy was more than an excellent financial choice, but also an excellent fit for my current life situation. Following the birth of my son, I had gained 50 lbs in pregnancy. I wanted to be my old self again. I wanted to be at ease and attractive. I was thinking, "What if I went completely sexy?"
